Almond Pecan Apple Crumble

This quick and easy crumble yields a delicious autumn dessert or treat. It will also fill your house with a fantastic smell. There is no all-purpose flour in this recipe. Instead, it is made with almond and coconut flour. There is also no refined sugar. Instead, allulose and coconut sugar have a delicious, sweet flavor.

INGREDIENTS:

Apples

3 pink lady apples, quartered, cored, thinly sliced

2 teaspoons allulose or sugar

2 teaspoons coconut sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Topping

½ cup almond flour

1 tablespoon coconut flour

6 tablespoons coconut sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

5 tablespoons cold butter, cut into small cubes

⅛ teaspoon kosher salt

¾ cup pecans, chopped

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Toss the apple slices with one teaspoon of allulose, two teaspoons coconut sugar, and one teaspoon cinnamon—place in six small baking dishes or one pie pan.

Place the almond flour, coconut flour, one teaspoon cinnamon, six tablespoons coconut sugar, salt, and butter into a food processor. Process until a crumbly mixture forms. Stir in the nuts by hand.

Crumble the topping over the top of the apples.

Bake in the oven until the apples are tender, and the crumble is browned for about fifteen to twenty minutes. Remove from the oven and serve warm or cool. Best topped with vanilla ice cream.
